this guy with an indian accent rang me, claiming to be from british gas. i told him we don’t even have gas here. he kinda paused n went, “no gas? what about electricity then?” i told him he can’t just switch his story like that and then i hung up on him!

i just got a call from someone wanting info about my washing machine’s brand and model. they already had my name, address and postcode though. i asked who was calling and they just disconnected. they spoke in a really broken english and sounded like they were working in a call centre with loads of background noise.
