If you tap on that link, it’ll probably dump some malicious software straight onto your gadget. Luckily, this trick’s pretty old now, so it’s unlikely anyone would fall for it these days. Got a text claiming to be from Royal Mail saying they attempted to deliver a parcel but no one was home. Loads of things felt off about it - it came from a normal phone number, I wasn't expecting any parcels, no missed delivery card pushed through my letterbox, and it was sent at 5.10 in the morning! Seriously, who on earth delivers post that early? Definitely a total scam.

This number popped up claiming to be Royal Mail, saying they’d tried to drop off a parcel for me. Tried to make it sound legit but I ain't waiting on any deliveries. Then they shoot over a text with a link to click - yeah right, not falling for that one! Looks like a proper scam to me.

Got a call saying Royal Mail tried to deliver something but they couldn’t. I wasn’t expecting any parcel or anything. No card was left on my door or anything. The website they wanted me to visit looked dodgy and had weird stuff like “new web” written on it. Felt really fishy to me.
