Got a message that said it was from EVRI, saying they’d attempted to drop off a parcel while I wasn’t home and to call a certain number to sort it out. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a message from this number: Santander says I've paid £2350 to K ADAMS. If this wasn't you, ring them straight away on +44 2895 81 4548. REF: FR2059. Pretty dodgy if you ask me!

Got a text saying I’d paid a big sum to someone, supposedly from Santander. It told me if that wasn’t right to call a number and use some reference code. I reckon it’s a scam, so I didn’t bother calling. Seems dodgy to me.

I just got a text from my dad saying he’s really stressed and needs me to call him back straight away, but on a different number than the one he sent the message from. It sounded quite urgent, so I’m a bit worried now.

So, they said they were trying to get their “mum” to message them on WhatsApp, but from another number instead of the one that sent the text. Quite odd, really.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from Royal Mail saying my parcel wasn’t delivered because of an incorrect address. Thing is, I haven’t bought anything recently. Their site seemed quite legit though.

I just got a message claiming to be from Santander, saying that if I didn’t make the transaction I should ring an 020 number. Thing is, I’ve never even had an account with them! Definitely a dodgy scam.

Received a message from this number claiming "Halifax: a new device was added on 20.07 at 16:16. If this wasn’t you, click here." I rang Halifax and they told me they always start their texts with my full name. Saw what others said too, so I’m gonna block it now. Cheers everyone!

I got a text from this number claiming to be my kid, but something about it just didn't feel right. I'm certain it wasn’t them. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number and sent a report to [email protected].

Got a message off this number saying it was Halifax bank telling me my debit card got charged £995 at IKEA. They asked me to call 01218276161 if it wasn't me. Problem is, I don’t even bank with Halifax or buy stuff from IKEA, so pretty sure this is just a scam with both numbers linked.

Got a text the other day saying I had some kind of "official" refund from financial regulators about an investment scam. It urged me to act straight away and click a link - looked dodgy to me. Proper scam alert, so watch out if you get a message like that!

Got a text saying there was a payment of £590.23 through AIRBNB and included a one-time passcode. It warned me that if I didn’t authorise it, I should ring their fraud department on 03305330595 and gave me a reference number to mention.

Got a text that looked like it was from Royal Mail saying they’d tried to deliver a parcel, with a tracking number and all. I hadn’t ordered anything though, so I went to check the tracking info. Turns out the number was fake. The link looked just like the official Royal Mail site but then it asked me for my card details. Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!
