Got a call from someone pretending to be my daughter, claiming it was her new phone number and then trying to get me to send over some cash. Not this time, mate. It kicked off with a generic “save my new number” text, and when I asked who it was, the reply was “your eldest and favourite.” Then they switched to WhatsApp, begging for £780 because ‘they couldn’t get into their online bank.’ Once I clocked it was a scam and told them on a voice message to find a proper job, they shot back with “why you gotta hate bro” 😂. Absolutely cheeky!
