Received a message that simply said, “Hi, are you busy? It’s Emma.” Naturally, I responded with, “Emma who?” Then came the reply, “Emma B” followed by a kiss. I wasn't sure who this was, so I shot back that I didn’t recognise an Emma B and promptly blocked what was clearly a wrong number-or possibly some sort of scammer.

I received a text from someone named Emma stating that she’s in the hospital due to a fractured tibia. Strangely, there was no link or plea for funds included. My mum and I both got the same message.
