I've been getting calls from what seems like a UK mobile number quite a lot lately. When I picked up, there was a bloke on the line, not speaking with a UK accent, who said his name was David and claimed he was from Citizens Advice. He offered me a loan to help clear my debts. I told him straight that Citizens Advice doesn’t deal with loans, and he just hung up on me. I tried ringing the number back but it didn’t show up as a valid number. Be careful, don’t hand over any details to these people - it really feels like a scam to me.
