Got a call from 07752346870, some place called GIF Gas or something? They rang up a 90-year-old lady saying they wanted to book an appointment and come round. Sounds like proper harassment if you ask me. We’re not answering that number anymore. Pretty obvious it’s a scammer trying to trick elderly people into signing up for who knows what.

We’ve tried calling back like 3 or 4 times but no one’s picking up.

I've tried blocking this number loads of times but it just keeps coming back, really annoying! Seems like nothing I do stops it from ringing.

I got about 5 calls all in one afternoon from them, keep offering some free deal on our solar panels. They just wouldn’t accept a no, kept pushing it nonstop.

I dont recognise the caller at all, they just hung up right after my answerphone clicked in and they heard me. I never pick up unless its someone I’m familiar with. That said, from what ive seen others say, Ive had calls a couple of times from a bloke named “john” about checking my solar panels, saying they’ve serviced them previously. Thats absolutely not true!

This bloke claimed his name was John and said he’d fixed our solar boiler back in 2019. As soon as I told him we don’t even have a solar boiler, he just ended the call.

They rang me up 4 times back to back. The person on the phone claimed their company did a service on our solar panels back in 2018, which is a total lie since we’ve never had any servicing done. When I spoke to the TPS about it, they were rude and mocking. I’ve dealt with difficult people before, so it didn’t bother me, but I can easily see how lots of folks might find it quite unpleasant.
