I got a call about some PPI payout, they told me I'd be getting a cheque for £5879 next week sent by recorded delivery and asked for my address. When I told them I never made a PPI claim and suspected it was a scam, the person on the other end snapped back saying I should’ve declared that at the start and then told me I’d go to hell! Then they just hung up. I've blocked the number now.
