I got a call from 07752106422 claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau. When I asked how they got my details, they said it came through some debt recovery department. Then they just ended the call on me. Sounds like a total scam to me. I checked with the real Citizens Advice and they said it wasn’t them, plus the person definitely didn’t sound English like you’d expect from the actual CAB.

For the past week, ive been getting nonstop calls from this guy, even after i blocked him somehow he managed to ring me again today. He was really unpleasant, claiming to be from some government dept investigating debts and asking about how much I supposedly owed so he could help reduce it. Then he went on about accusations about debts that arent even mine. Honestly, this bloke's just rude and sounds like he's working for some shady money lending company. Someone should put an end to this.

These calls are just a nasty scam and nothing but annoying. Someone mentioned up there that they might be from Scotland since the numbers look local, but that’s not true at all! The numbers are fake and likely come from somewhere like the Middle East or Africa. The scammers are pretty tech-savvy and try to trick folks into giving away their bank details. Don’t go blaming the Scottish people - it’s the crooks behind the calls who are at fault. Best to just block them using BT’s call blocking service.

Got two calls from this number earlier, some lady with a thick accent was rambling on about credit stuff so I just ended the call. They rang back half an hour later so I decided to block the number and put a stop to it.

I kept getting calls on Friday from someone saying they were with Citizen Advice, must’ve been at least 20 times. I finally picked up on Saturday just to see what they wanted and to ask them to put me on their do not call list. The bloke I spoke to was really disrespectful and even started swearing. Ended up reporting the whole thing to the police.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with citizen advice, but i saw through it right away and told him it was a dodgy scam, plus i’d looked it up online. Asked him to take my number off their list. Then the bloke, who sounded asian, started shouting calling me a "stupid woman" and telling me to "put the phone down or else", with a bunch of swear words thrown in. I didn’t hold back either and gave him a piece of my mind before he slammed the phone down.

I explained I don’t owe anything and wanted to know which company they were with. They started shouting loads of abuse at me, and I didn’t hold back either. Told them to jog on and mentioned they could come have a go at my door if they fancied it. As a boxer, I’m well up for the challenge!
