I received a phone call claiming to be from BT Openreach, stating that they were in the midst of enhancing the external lines to improve internet speeds. They went on to say that during their so-called upgrade, they discovered some suspicious activity linked to my IP address. Then they began probing me for details about my devices, like my Xbox and security cameras. It was clearly a scam! I verified with BT directly, and they assured me it was all utter nonsense. Please, do NOT divulge any personal details!! Just hang up immediately!
