Someone called claiming to be from Amazon, saying I had a parcel and owed more than a hundred quid.

Just received a message about a missed DPD delivery, but I suspect it’s a dodgy site. I've already flagged it with my provider by texting 7726, and I’ve also blocked the number. Would urge everyone to take similar action!

Got a call saying DPD tried to deliver a package but no one was home, then they dropped a link in the message.

Received a message this morning saying I had missed a DPD delivery at 7:56 AM. Seems a tad unlikely, considering I don’t reckon DPD makes night-time deliveries.

I received a text notifying me that I'd missed a delivery, which was quite odd as I was indeed awaiting a parcel. I instinctively clicked the link provided, but it was a dead end. So, I thought it best to head straight to the legitimate DPD site, only to discover there was no record of my anticipated package. I gave that link another shot, and lo and behold, it actually worked this time. However, it led me to a rather dodgy-looking website that was definitely not the authentic DPD page. They were attempting to extract money for rescheduling the delivery (as if!), along with my banking details, date of birth, and various other security questions. The logos on display appeared suspiciously like they had been hastily copied from a genuine site. To top it off, none of the support links seemed operational. I refrained from providing any personal information, but out of curiosity, I checked the tracking number on the real DPD website, only to find that it was a complete sham-untraceable. This reeks of identity theft, and it wouldn't surprise me if these miscreants end up applying for loans and credit cards using stolen identities.

I got a message from this number at 1:19 in the morning, saying I’d missed a delivery and urging me to click a link for redelivery. So, I went ahead and clicked it. It then popped up asking for a payment of £1.99 and wanted my bank details, including my account number and sort code! No chance, mate. That’s a hard pass from me.

Much like others have mentioned, I received a rather perplexing text from DPD claiming that I had missed a delivery at precisely 8.58 this morning. The thing is, I was very much at home, and your driver failed to ring our doorbell. It's not some quiet little chime either; it plays a lengthy and rather loud melody, quite impossible to overlook. So, was there indeed a parcel meant for me? If so, kindly arrange for another attempt and please instruct your driver to actually use the doorbell this time. I refuse to provide my bank details, as the failure to deliver is clearly not my doing. Honestly, why on earth would you require my full bank details, including my account number, when it’s entirely unnecessary? While you may boast about your global delivery capabilities, it appears that local deliveries are a different story altogether. This marks the second occasion this has happened to me. Last time, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but it seems to be a recurring issue now. I have zero trust in this service-feels a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

Beware of a DPD scam that’s doing the rounds. It's best not to engage with it at all.

Just about had a close shave with this one! This is now the second dodgy text I’ve received in the last couple of weeks. It claimed I had missed a delivery and urged me to pay £1.99 to reschedule. The funny thing is, I was right by the front door the whole time and there wasn’t a soul ringing the bell! It’s quite irritating when you’re waiting on a parcel to arrive. The message read: DPD: Apologies for not catching you. To arrange another delivery, kindly visit: ... Seriously, steer clear of this scam!!

I just got a message saying I missed a parcel from DPD, but this is the second time now and I’m not expecting anything at all. Definitely a scam. They want me to tap on a link, but there’s no chance I’m falling for that!
