Someone called claiming to be from British gas. They knew my full name. Got annoyed when I told them I dont own a house. I just blocked the number. They ended up hanging up!

Some guy from India called me claiming it was some kinda verification. Fortunately, he had my previous address, so I just told him I didn’t know who he was and ended the call. He kept trying to be all friendly like, saying “come on, just answer.” I hung up but the calls kept coming every couple of minutes. Got fed up and told him off. Then he called again saying I didn't need to swear, just answer his questions. Eventually, I blocked the number. Proper dodgy behaviour from those people.

A guy with a strange accent claimed he was calling from M&S about my gas and electricity. He asked me to verify my address but gave me my old one instead. He kept talking over me when I tried to say I wasn’t interested and that I’m on the TPS do-not-call list. Eventually, I just hung up because I got fed up with his endless rambling. It’s so frustrating when these calls come from what looks like a mobile number. Grrr!

I've been getting calls like this for weeks now! They use all sorts of numbers, sometimes mobiles and other times landlines, all seem to be spoofed. The voice always sounds Asian, mostly Indian accent, sometimes it's a guy, sometimes a girl.
