Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Bank Security, saying there were two purchases on my card today. One was supposedly £300 at Amazon, and the other was an international money transfer of £1100. I found it odd since I’ve never made either transaction. The automated voice then told me to press 1 if it was me or 2 to speak to an operator. This recorded message has been popped up for years now. Usually, it’s about an Amazon payment and some international transfer, or sometimes even a train ticket from London to Edinburgh.
