This number isn’t from Santander bank, it’s definitely a scam.

I got a message claiming to be from Santander about some new payee info. I don’t even have an account with Santander, so it was pretty obvious it was a scam straight away. Definitely don’t follow any links in it because it takes you to a really authentic-looking Santander site. Heard about this scam recently in the Daily Express and also from Santander themselves.

I got a call from someone named A Hussein, but I reckon it was either a wrong number or a dodgy scam. They asked for banking info, but obviously I didn’t give them anything since it’s not safe.

Got a text about my Personal Online Banking saying I'd added a new payee. Definitely don’t tap on any links in messages like that. If you’re worried or think something’s up, give your bank a ring directly instead of using the link in the text.
