There was a weird pause before the call actually connected, which made me suspicious straight away. She asked when we last had our solar panels inspected, then just cut off. Proper time wasters, that’s what they are.

So I got a call from someone claiming to be with EMS, a company dealing with solar panel upkeep. The caller spoke with a distinct East London tone and after a brief silence on the line, they asked when we last had our solar panels serviced. Obviously a scam, as we told them ‘just yesterday’ and they immediately ended the call! Quite funny, really.

A lady said her name was "Sarah" when the call came through, but the 'accept on this time' button wouldn’t let me pick up. She rang again but when I finally answered, there was no reply, just lots of noise in the background. It seemed like a bunch of kids messing about. I'm planning to block the number now.

I got a call and they wanted to speak to me by name. At first, I figured it might be about an appointment, so I answered. But then, as soon as I started chatting, they just ended the call.

Got a call on my home phone from this number at about 11.13 today, but I wasn’t around so my granddaughter picked it up. The lady on the other end asked for me, but when I wasn’t there, she started being really nasty to my granddaughter. She went as far as saying "are you deaf?" and called her a horrible name. Honestly, who does that? They really should have some respect and mind their manners when talking to others.
