A woman with a thick Chinese accent rang me up and asked for me by my full name. She claimed to be calling from Lloyd’s Bank, saying they’re offering £200 if I switch to their services. She even had my address and postcode, which made it a bit dodgy. I can’t imagine Lloyd’s using someone with such poor English, ringing from a mobile, to try and get new customers. I just told her I handle all that sort of stuff online anyway and ended the call.
