Got a call from a mobile, and an English lady kept asking for me by my name. When I wanted to know who was on the line, she just ended the call. Definitely one of those scam attempts.

Got a call from a lady offering her company’s services and said she’d send someone over to inspect the job and ensure everything’s alright. When I asked her to say the company name again, she just ended the call. I looked up the number and saw it was from a mobile, so I went ahead and blocked it and warned others about it.

I got a call from someone saying they were the company who put insulation in our loft last year. We’ve been plagued with dodgy calls about that insulation before, so I told them flat out not to ring again. Right at the start I mentioned our number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The person just went, “Yeah, so what?” Honestly, rude and clearly up to no good!
