Got a text about a parcel supposedly waiting for me but it was just some dodgy scam trying to get my details. Watch out, folks!

They claimed to have attempted a parcel delivery, but since it was supposedly from the Post Office, which never actually delivers parcels, I reckon it's a scam trying to fish for my bank info. Definitely a dodgy trick!

Got a call from James saying he was dropping off a Royal Mail parcel, but I hadn’t bought anything. So I blocked the number and reported it straight away.

I reckon it’s one of those parcel cons trying to grab your bank info, sent from a mobile number. They want you to pay for a parcel that "tried" to be delivered during a strike day, which sounds dodgy. Also, the text popped up way too early, like at 5.33am, which felt pretty suspicious. The website they link looks super legit, almost like an official PO site, so I can see why people might be tricked. I think the text got held up in the system somewhere, only reaching me on 27/12/2022 - definitely a red flag.

Got a text saying someone named James attempted to drop off a package. Didn't pay it much attention since I wasn’t waiting for anything.

Just got a call from a new number, some guy named Adam still yapping about a parcel that doesn’t even exist! Totally done with this - straight to block and bin!
