The guy wasn’t great with his English and started asking me about a Halifax loan. Oddly enough, he seemed to know my name and a few bits about me. When I questioned how he got this info and why he was ringing from a mobile, he just ended the call. Definitely a scammer!

The call was quiet for a bit and then suddenly dropped out.

Had a bloke ring me up with really dodgy English saying I won a PPI claim. He was proper vague about who it was for, just mentioned a credit card, which sounded a bit off. When I asked which company he was with, he muttered something I couldn’t catch a few times, then finally said Gladstone Brookes or summat like that. Felt like a right dodgy scammer to me.

They called me twice in about thirty minutes, and the moment I answered saying the company name, they hung up right away. So, I've just blocked the number now.
