I've had a few calls now where they immediately want my bank info, saying I've got a “pre-approved refund” waiting. They kept insisting that sharing my bank details was perfectly safe, unlike giving out card info, which sounds fishy to me. I chatted with someone higher up who said they'd email me some paperwork about this refund, but I never got anything. Later calls made it clear these folks might be con artists, and when I questioned them, they flipped it and accused me of scamming. No clue what their plan is with my bank details, but I’d steer clear just in case.

This number kept ringing me when I was driving - honestly, who does that? Most people just drop a text or leave a voicemail. Seems like just another cold call or scam to me.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, said she was ringing from GladsconeBrookes. She told me my PPI claim had been approved and I was due £1900.85. Definitely a scam trying to get my personal info.

I get calls from this guy often, an Asian chap who says his name is Kevin Merton, though sometimes it’s a woman on the line. Today, when I asked what the hell he wanted and if that was even his real name, he lost it, getting all aggressive and rude. He began throwing out nasty insults about me being Pakistani and even said horrible things about my wife. Honestly, it’s crossed the line so I’m planning to report him to the cops. From now on, I’ll be recording any calls that come through from that number.

This number won’t stop ringing me, saying I’m due some kind of PPI refund from Santander. When I asked why they were calling a mobile, the bloke just mumbled some nonsense. I ended the call but now they keep phoning me two or three times daily.

This number rings me nearly every day. Sometimes it’s a man with an Asian accent, other times a woman, but both say their name is Kevin Merton! When I confronted him about who he really is and why he keeps calling, he flipped out and started being rude. He even threw insults at me, calling me a Pakistani and making nasty remarks about my wife. I've decided to report this to the police, and from now on I’ll be recording any more calls from this number.

Got a call from a bloke who said he was from some refund department at a bank. He wouldn’t tell me much else, just kept insisting he needed my bank info to sort out a refund. Sounded dodgy right away - definitely a scammer trying to fish for my details. Cheers, but no thanks!
