Got a scam call from this number, it’s been buzzing my phone for several days. Picked up today and it was a guy speaking with an Indian accent, sounded like he was in a noisy kitchen or something. He started asking for my name and said I owed money that he claimed he could fix. I just hung up and blocked it straight away. Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, saying something about me applying for a loan before or someone using my name to do it. I told him he was talking rubbish. When I asked where he was calling from, he said “the fraud department.” I asked which fraud department and then he just hung up.

I just got a call from a man with an Indian accent using this number, who said his name was Stephen Walker and claimed to be calling from the Manchester Citizens Advice Bureau about some debt issue. I told him the number showed up as possibly scammy, and he literally started yelling at me. I asked him to calm down and not be so unprofessional, but he shouted even more. When I said I’d google the Manchester Citizens Advice Bureau to check, he hung up on me. I’ve since contacted the real Citizens Advice Bureau in Manchester, and they confirmed it’s a scam.

It was like 2 or 3 seconds before I heard an asian/indian accent after answering - defo an auto dialler. The guy asked for me by name and said he was from some credit debt office.
