Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Amazon. He wanted me to read out a verification code supposedly sent to my mobile, saying he needed it to delete my number. When I asked for the account holder's name, he dodged the question. Then he mentioned I’d apparently bought a laptop from Germany the night before - which is totally untrue.
