Can someone please tell me who’s been ringing me from this number? I’m a vulnerable person and I don’t feel safe picking up, especially since I’m under a protection order. I’m really anxious and stressed out at the moment and don’t want to make things worse by answering. This whole situation is making me feel confused and quite overwhelmed.

This number has been ringing my work phone like mad, got 4 silent calls in the past 20 minutes alone. Looks like some automatic dialling machine or something fishy going on.

Got a call from 07449788952, some automated voice saying my National Insurance number might be at risk. Sounded dodgy to me.

Someone called me and used my old married name, and when I told them “no, I’ve changed my name now,” they just hung up right away! Clearly wasn’t about to share my new name with them. About 30 minutes earlier, a different number, 02080280052, rang me and it showed up as potential scam on my phone, so I’m guessing it’s all connected.

Got a call on my mobile from a number starting 07749 189756, an unfamiliar bloke with an Asian accent asking if he was talking to someone by name. I told him to mind his own business unless he told me who he was, then he just cut me off. Seemed fishy to me. If it was a genuine firm or someone legit, they'd have said who they were. Could hear some call centre noise in the background as well.

It took ages for the call to go through, and then the person on the other end kept asking if they could talk to my missus. Really odd behaviour.

Got a call from an automated voice claiming to be Amazon saying my iPhone order was on its way. I hung up straight away without hearing the full message. Then I just blocked the number.

Got a call from an unknown number, no one spoke and they didn’t leave a voicemail. Just went ahead and blocked it.
