Got a dodgy call from some US number with a recorded voice pretending to be HMRC. They claimed I had unpaid tax or was involved in tax evasion and said I'd be sent to a magistrate if I didn’t comply. The message told me to press 1 to dodge jail or legal trouble, or press 2 to just ignore it. Total scam.

I got a phone call from a US number with a recorded message pretending to be HMRC. It claimed I owed taxes and accused me of evasion, saying I’d end up in court unless I pressed 1 to sort it or press 2 to do nothing. Quite dodgy if you ask me!
