I got a message supposedly from 'HSBC', but I don't even hold an account there. It said a payment had been arranged from an account I don't recognise - a typical trick meant to panic you into reacting quickly without checking properly. The text had a link that looked pretty genuine. I’d strongly advise against clicking on links from numbers you don’t know. If you’re worried about your finances, just get in touch with your bank yourself. There’s no doubt this is just a scam.

Got a text from 'HSBC' about a payment request they claimed I didn’t recognise, telling me to sort it out quickly. Didn’t click on anything, just straight up deleted it. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
