Got a text saying it was from HSBC on 07748854440, asking if I’d approved a payment of £260 to some C. Jones. I hadn’t, obviously. There was a link to cancel the transaction but I didn’t click it because I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. When I searched the number online, it showed up as Plevin Power or something like that - totally fishy. Just thought I’d warn others about it. Hope this helps someone.
