Just got a text claiming to be from HSBC about some security thing saying a payment was done on a new device. They told me to click a link and login but I don’t even have an account with them. Seems dodgy to me so watch out. If you’re worried, best to either pop into your local branch or use the number from your bank card instead of tapping on any links from these messages.

SCAM ALERT - Just ignore their texts and block the number straight away. Got a message claiming a payment attempt was made on my supposed HSBC account from some new gadget. They wanted me to verify all my banking info either over a call or through a link they sent by text, saying it was to keep my account safe. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with HSBC. Just don’t trust it!
