someone phoned saying they were from hmrc and told me i was being taken to court for tax fraud. they said i had to pay £3578.98 to clear the debt and avoid any legal trouble. when i just laughed it off, they got really annoyed and started threatening me with jail time if i didn't pay up. clearly, they weren't expecting me to react like that!

Got a call on my mobile and it sounded dodgy, some automated voice messing about with my national insurance saying it was compromised. Then it told me to press 1 if I didn’t want any trouble. This has scam written all over it. Someone should report this to the cops and make sure these scoundrels get locked up. Proper lowlife stuff.

Got a call from a dodgy number that already had my name and where I live, but then they tried telling me my PPI claim was all set.

This number has called me loads on my phone claiming they're from the tax department saying I owe money. I never bother opening their texts, just bin them right away. Another dodgy scam for sure! It’s crazy how they get hold of your phone number in the first place.

I just got a call from a different number about life insurance. The person actually knew my first name and proceeded to read out my address, asking me to confirm it. The address he mentioned was correct, but I have no idea where he found that info. I ended the call straight away. Quite creepy, to be honest.
