Got a call from someone talking with a dodgy British accent saying my bank card was charged £800 for gambling or something like that. They told me to press 1. I just ended the call straight away. Obviously a scam!

Got a call from someone with a really thick Indian accent saying she was from Amazon. She kept reading off some script and asked if I’d ordered something like £795. Then she wanted me to say what my last purchase was. I told her if she was truly from Amazon, she’d have that info already. She just ended the call right there. Definite scam!

Got one of those dodgy calls again. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

Sounds like one of those scam calls to me. It was a robotic voice saying it was from the ‘fraud team’ and that there was some suspicious activity on a Visa card. They told me to press 1 if I wasn’t the one making the transaction. I didn’t press anything. I thought if it was really my bank, they’d at least say which bank they were from and maybe give the last four digits of the card involved. Seemed fishy to me.
