Got a call from this number saying they were HMRC and warning I'd get into big trouble if I didn't talk to someone. Honestly, I reckon HMRC would have sent me a letter first! I kept asking which firm they were with, but every time they just wanted my name and postcode - which I never gave. On the third time I asked who they actually were, they just hung up. The accent was pretty noticeable too. I tried ringing back but no luck, the line wouldn’t take my call. And claiming to be James Smith? Yeah, right!
