Got a call from someone with an accent, saying they were from BT about some "issues with broadband in your area." They asked me to give them a code from a text they'd just sent to "confirm I was the account holder." I told them no and suggested they sort the problem properly. Then they said if I didn’t give the code, they’d suspend my service for 48 hours and then decide what to do next. Not sure what the scam was exactly, but it definitely wasn’t BT ringing me.
