SCAM: Proper dodgy call claiming to be from BT. She asked if I’d gotten a BT email, then sent me three identical messages with a PIN, saying it was to prove she was legit. I asked why she was calling from a mobile, but her excuse didn’t sit right. Told her I had to rush to an appointment and would ring BT myself. Sure enough, when I rang BT, they said it was a scam. The emails looked really authentic, so watch out! Earlier today, I’d already gotten a shifty call from an 0047 number - BT only uses UK numbers, so definitely a red flag.
