We got a call from someone claiming to rent out a lovely cottage at a really cheap price, but something didn’t feel right. We found out the woman was pretending to be a doctor! It all seemed too perfect, so we looked into it first before handing over any deposit. Definitely glad we did - if a deal sounds too perfect, it probably isn’t genuine!
