The number I dialled was 232 222, and the response was fruitless. The initial number that reached out was 07748 178762 and then there’s also 232 222 70680. Quite a frustrating experience, really!

I've received the same text message on two separate occasions, the latest being on the 23rd of November. The number associated with the messages appears to be from West Africa. As far as I know, Ghana's code is 00233, while Nigeria's is 00232. Just thought I'd share that little tidbit!

Indeed, we received a message from this number on the 23rd of November, 2008, at five twenty-three in the morning. We decided to overlook it.

Indeed, we received a call that was exactly the same. Same number, same date, and nearly the same hour, not to mention the message was identical. We decided to brush it off, clearly a scam of some sort. But honestly, I’m stumped about the specifics of their ruse.
