He claimed to be calling from the CAB regarding some unpaid debts I supposedly had. The line was really crackly, so I asked him to say it again, and then he just hung up on me.

Had a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent, saying it was about my unpaid debts and they even knew my name. I asked them which debts they meant because I don’t owe anything. Then I asked if they were just reading from a script. They seemed a bit rattled after that, so I told them to stop bothering people and ended the call.

Honestly, I actually enjoy messing around with these sorts of callers. I draw them out on the line, acting all interested, drop some made-up details after a bit, then let them know I don’t owe anything. If i can keep them busy long enough, maybe it stops a couple more folks from falling for their scam.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent just around teatime. When I asked where he got my number from, he snapped back with, "F#ck off, you motherf##ker, that’s what I’m saying," and then cut me off. Honestly, his English was surprisingly decent for someone not from here! Looks like he’s been ringing loads today. Blocked him instantly. What a jerk.

A woman rang me and her accent made it quite tricky to catch everything she was saying. She mentioned something about unsecured debts, so I asked her to clarify which ones exactly. She replied it could be things like bank loans or credit cards, so when I told her I don’t have any, she just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now but it’s so annoying how junk calls from mobiles keep rising. I always feel like I should pick up just in case it’s one of my kids using a mate's phone to get hold of me. Then, 2 minutes later, a bloke called from the same number and was really pushy and rude. I asked who gave them my info and why they were nagging me so early on my first day off in ages (cheers for ruining that!) He got even more hostile and then hung up. I’ve blocked the number now and would suggest you do as well.

Got a call from 07748006295, and for the past week, a private number has been ringing me up about three times daily. I’m pretty sure it’s the same lot. Since I never answer private numbers, they switched to a number that looks like a mobile one. But when I tried calling it back, it just says the number doesn’t exist. Best to just ignore these calls. They sound like scammers claiming I owe money, which I definitely don’t.

He said his name was Kevin (had an asian accent) and said he was from the citizens advic bureau info office. I asked where he was calling from and he said London. I asked what area in London and he just said London again. Then I asked for the postcode and he gave me 1675 or something like that. I told him that’s not a real London postcode and he just hung up on me.
