Got a voicemail about a direct debit of £285 supposedly going to Aviva. It worried me so I got in touch with my bank's fraud department, they were really great and sorted it out quick. Turns out, no direct debit was ever arranged and the 03333 number isn't linked to Barclays at all.

Beware, this is a classic bank scam. I got a text saying a direct debit of £285 to Aviva was taken from my Barclays account. Thing is, I’ve never had any insurance with Aviva, nor do I even bank with Barclays! I called the number they told me to ring, 03333390267, and found out straight away it’s a fraud to steal money. Don’t fall for it.
