For months now, I've been getting calls from various numbers saying there's been strange activity on my account. It’s always something about an Amazon charge or a foreign payment. They ask if I confirm it’s legit or press 1 to speak to someone. I reckon this scam could easily fool people who aren’t paying attention or are more vulnerable. Just be careful and don’t answer, hang up straight away.
