I’ve had a couple of calls today from this number, and it's clear they’re linked to one of those Amazon scams going around. Thankfully, I don’t use a smartphone and I spotted the scam pretty quick, so I reported it. The BBC is actually doing a feature on this kind of fraud - scammers try to steal loads of money from worried Amazon users by tricking them into downloading an app that steals financial info and even films them while doing it. They seem to keep switching phone numbers, which makes me wonder if these numbers themselves might have been hacked or stolen too.
