Got this dodgy text pretending to be from my son saying he’s on a new number ‘cos his phone’s busted or something. It even asked me to save it. I nearly fell for it thinking it was some legit message service. Luckily, I spotted the scam and deleted it straight away. Then EE texted me back saying they couldn’t process my request as it would put me over my Spend Cap. I’m grateful for that cap or those scammers would have taken me for a right ride. Usually I’m onto these scams pretty quick, but this one nearly got me!
