Today at about 9.14am I ignored a call from an unknown number and let it ring through to my voicemail. Lately, I've been getting a lot of scam calls, but this is the first one pretending to be Amazon saying there were pricey purchases on my account. I know this Amazon scam is quite widespread right now. I had a proper look at my account and, as I thought, there’s nothing dodgy or unauthorised on there. I’m going to go ahead and block this number now. The other calls I’ve been getting recently were about unsafe loft insulation and driveway work.
