Got a call claiming to be from Visa, kept dodging when I asked for their name. They wanted to know if I was the cardholder but never actually confirmed my details. When I requested to talk to a senior manager about data protection, the bloke just insulted me before hanging up. Not impressed at all!

I think someone has been messing about with the caller ID on this number to scam people. I picked up the phone but all I heard was silence. Checking online, I found no reports against it, so I figured I’d call back since the number looked familiar - it’s a Telefonica line. The bloke who answered seemed quite baffled and said he hadn’t made any calls. He mentioned he was in Spain, so now I’ve ended up ringing a Spanish mobile from the UK, which I’m pretty sure will cost me a fair bit.
