Got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from Amazon Security about a suspicious purchase on my account due to some problem with my PC. The bloke had an Indian accent and there was that typical call centre noise in the background. Pretty much the usual scam line. I cut him off quickly, telling him he wasn’t from Amazon and that it was a fraud before they could trick me into installing some app to take over my computer. Hung up straight away.
