Today, 15th Feb, got a call from 07745893059 claiming I owe Design Group UK some money. Told them to get lost straight away. Already reported this to the police. Proper nuisance!

Some bloke phoned claiming to be Mr Bowman, said he was a debt collector and that I owed £199 to a firm named Design Group UK. He reckoned I’d agreed to have an advert in an emergency magazine or something, which I don’t remember at all. I told him I wasn’t buying it and that I’d get legal advice. Then Design Group UK got in touch saying they’d sent me an invoice, but it wasn’t even a proper one. That made me even more wary. Since then, I haven’t heard a peep from them.

Some bloke called himself Mr Richards and said he was ringing from a debt collection agency about an unpaid invoice. He was really rude and short with me. I’ve been getting calls from this “company” for months now, claiming I owe money for adverts in magazines that I supposedly agreed to. They say I accepted a verbal contract, and if I don’t pay today, the bill will go up! Honestly, avoid them completely. When I mentioned I’d report them to a fraud watchdog, they immediately stopped bothering me.

somebody called saying he was michael brown from "small claims", saying i owed more money for an ad in some emergency services mag. he emailed me an invoice from design group uk, but when i checked, that company isn’t on the list of 81 firms at the kingston rd address in wimbledon, london. after digging around i found loads of warnings about scams tied to ads in emergency service publications. when "mr brown" rang back and i asked for more details, he dodged my questions and then cut the call.
