Got a text sayin’ “There’s been an attempt for a direct debit on your Halifax account of £199.99. Reply N if it’s not you.” Not sure yet if it’s legit or a phishing attempt, since I just had my bank account hacked a bit ago. I’m gonna ring up Halifax before replying to sort it out and make sure nothing dodgy is goin’ on.

I got a call claiming to be from Co-op Bank, which sounded pretty legit at first. They told me there was an attempt to withdraw cash from my account, but then they asked for all my bank card information. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
