Got a call from someone who knew my name, said they were with Amazon and claimed there was a big purchase on my account. They asked me to download some app. When I said I’d ring Amazon myself to check, they started getting quite rude and hung up, warning me that £659 would be taken from my bank as a “lesson.” Pretty nasty scam if you ask me.
