Got a call from a woman saying she was from Amazon. She told me some iphone had supposedly been bought on my account but from a strange IP address. She sounded nice and it kinda made sense, but I wasn’t taking any chances. I acted like I didn’t get what she was saying and hung up quick. If it was a scam, gotta admit, they put some effort into it.

Got a call from a woman saying she was with Amazon. She told me someone ordered an iPhone on my account but from a different IP address. She came across as friendly and made it sound believable, but I wasn’t going to take any chances. I just acted like I didn’t catch what she was saying and ended the call quickly. If it was a con, it was pretty clever.
