Received a text saying I’ve been in touch regarding omicron and to order a test kit. However, I haven't had any interaction whatsoever.

It seems someone is masquerading as NHS Track and Trace, attempting to solicit bank account details under the guise of sending out a PCR test. Just a heads up, by the way-the Track and Trace service has already shut down. Stay vigilant!

I received a message claiming I had been in proximity to an individual who tested positive for the Omicron variant. I can assure you, this is a fraudulent attempt - steer clear of the link!

I came across a website offering an Omicron PCR test kit for an outrageous £19.99. The ".com" domain raised some alarm bells for me. It’s rather cunning how they've designed the site to mislead folks, with various legitimate links scattered throughout to mask their intentions. I've alerted the authorities, and supposedly they’re going to look into it - or so they claim!

I'm really grateful for the insights shared here, as they prevented me from falling into the trap of that link. My message was identical to what’s been mentioned earlier, and I can assure you I've never signed up for test and trace.

I received a message claiming I've been in touch with someone who has omicron. It's clearly a scam - they simply wouldn't notify you via text. You'd expect a phone call or an alert from the track and trace app instead. Honestly, it's bewildering that they think we'd fall for this nonsense!
