Got a text at 5am from 07745 523832 saying I’d been near someone with the Omicron variant and to order a test kit from https://nhs.uk-pcr-test-kit.com/nhs. It looked exactly like the NHS site when I clicked the link, so I thought it might be legit since a mate of mine had just tested positive. But then it mentioned the test was free and P&P was only 99p, which seemed sketchy. I backed out straight away. My warning: don’t trust the link, keep reporting and block this number. It’s a really nasty scam, especially with how many have lost family to Covid.

The text told me to order a test kit from this link: https://nhs.uk-pcr-test-kit.com/nhs. I looked up the number online to see if it was legit and found out it’s probably a scam. Wouldn’t trust it!

Posted a couple of times about what needs doing to put an end to these overseas scammers ripping off the vulnerable and pestering everyone else. It does take some effort, but I've started reporting scam calls and messages to the police database (I keep the link bookmarked). Sadly, it’s gonna need thousands of folks making these reports before things change, but lots of people report scams here every day. You won’t see instant results if you do this, but if people don’t bother, nothing will ever be done to stop these scams.

I got a message claiming to be from ‘the NHS’ with a link to https://nhs.uk-pcr-test-kit.com/ - definitely avoid this site! It’s a fake copy of the real NHS PCR test page, using the same images and text but with dodgy links hidden inside. If you check the details with a network tool, the IP points back to Moskva, Russia, postcode 101 990! These scams are really well made and look super official. Stay alert and don’t trust random messages out of the blue.

I was called by someone claiming to be from the NHS, but their number was a mobile one. When I checked the official NHS Test and Trace site, it clearly states they only phone from 0300 013 5000. So if you get a call from a mobile saying it’s the NHS, it’s almost definitely a scam.

Trouble is, I never registered for test and trace, so there's no way they could track me or know if I’d been near anyone infected, let alone contact me by phone. Plus, I’ve been isolating for a week because I actually caught Covid myself, so the claim is clearly false. Pretty certain this is a scam attempt.
