I got a call from 07745523569 saying I’d been near someone with the Omicron variant and that I should purchase some test kits. It’s definitely not from the NHS - total scam alert. If you buy from them, you’re likely to be charged way too much and you’ll probably end up sharing your bank details with fraudsters.

These individuals are con artists. They claim that you've been in touch with someone infected with Omicron and then proceed to request all your personal information to supposedly arrange for Covid-19 tests, offering a delivery fee of just 99p. I genuinely wish the worst for them!

I got a call saying I’d been near someone with the omicron variant, and they sent me a link to get a test kit. Felt really dodgy to me!

They had all my info, like my name and address, which was a bit unsettling. They told me the government wants loft insulation checked for possible toxins. The person mentioned someone would call back. Not sure if any of that is actually legit!

this number keeps ringing our office, saying they’re from the g20 summit committee. the person on the other end sounds really pushy and rude. if they can’t talk to the person they’re after, they get even more nasty and harsh in their voice. definitely some kind of scam.

Has anyone actually picked up when this number called? I’ve got several missed calls from it, and I’m guessing it’s some sort of robocall from a call centre seeing if my number is live? Don’t usually pick up unknown numbers and they haven’t left any voicemail. Tried looking it up online but couldn’t find anything. Anyone got a clue who it might be before I think about ringing back?
