Complete rip-off scam, claiming it’s about bank PPI, telling me I’ve got compensation of £2550 plus interest £1550 from my bank. When they asked which bank I use, I made up one called “Bank of Paris” which isn’t real, and they didn’t spot that. Then they gave me a reference number and an ID, saying they never ask for bank or card info and that the money would be in some sort of wallet. After that, they put me through to another guy with an Asian accent who asked for the ID and ref numbers, which I purposely gave wrong. More to come, but it’s obviously dodgy.
